Last week we had the opportunity to attend U/Day Copenhagen: Industry, an exclusive event hosted at Unity’s office in the very city where it all began. As long-time publishers on the Unity Asset Store since 2015, it’s always inspiring for us to join these gatherings, where the future of Unity is shared directly by the people building it.
The day was packed with insightful presentations, real-world use cases from construction, design, and automation companies such as Palfinger, Wren Kitchens and B&R Automation, and hands-on demos that showcased Unity’s expanding capabilities. From talks on graphics and AI to explorations of DOTS and other core systems, the sessions painted a clear picture of Unity’s direction. Even more exciting was hearing how companies across different industries are using Unity to solve challenges in fields like manufacturing, design, and automation.
Beyond the talks, the demos and open sessions gave us the chance to dive deeper, ask questions, and exchange ideas with Unity’s technical teams. Networking with fellow professionals from across the Nordics was equally valuable, sparking conversations that reminded us how diverse and creative this community really is.
For us at Kronnect, these experiences are key. They allow us to stay aligned with Unity’s roadmap and ensure our assets continue to evolve hand-in-hand with the engine. Every insight we bring back helps us design tools that are not only technically robust, but also tuned to what creators will need in the near future.
We left Copenhagen energized and full of fresh ideas, grateful for the opportunity to be part of such an inspiring day.
