We’re honored to have been featured in a recent article by Diario de Sevilla, which took a deep dive into the story behind Kronnect and the people who make it possible. The piece highlights our evolution from a one-person endeavor into one of the top ten publishers on the Unity Asset Store, a recognition that still feels surreal every time we see it in writing.
The article offers a look back at how everything started over a decade ago, when our founder, Ramiro Oliva, saw a gap in the tools available for developers using Unity. From improving the visual quality of corporate presentations to building powerful real-time effects and systems for video games, that initial spark led to the creation of Kronnect in 2020—and we haven’t stopped since.
We’re especially proud that the piece acknowledges our contributions to the game development community, where our tools—like Beautify or Umbra Soft Shadows—have been used in countless creative projects. It’s humbling to know that our assets help creators bring their visions to life by solving technical challenges and enhancing visuals across platforms like Unity and Unreal.
Beyond games, the article also mentions how our tools have found their way into educational simulations for NASA, cybersecurity dashboards, and real-time risk visualization apps for sports events—examples that show how far-reaching interactive technology can be.
Another point we appreciated was the recognition of our international focus. With most of our customers based in the US, Korea, Japan, and Germany, it’s always meaningful to receive support and visibility from our home country, even if Spain isn’t (yet!) our largest market.
Finally, Diario de Sevilla highlighted how we’ve grown thanks to the backing of initiatives like Enisa, which recognized Kronnect as an innovative startup. That support, along with the trust of thousands of developers worldwide, has helped us continue investing in our products and in the community we’re proud to be a part of.
We want to sincerely thank Diario de Sevilla for shining a light on our work, and for giving space to stories like ours—stories that often unfold behind the scenes but power so many of the creative experiences enjoyed by millions.
